LIVING SPACE

Morningside Estate has a truly remarkable history. The house architect was Dorin Musgrove who had a passion for Frank Lloyd Wright design. The house began as a private residence by previous owners. Unforeseen circumstances caused the house to stop development and later be sold. The house sat neglected and in a partial finished state for many years. The grounds had become overrun with weeds and it was not attractive. The current owners saw the original dream and began to landscape and eventually build. The building was transformed into what is now Morningside Estate. The home of Canada's Next Top Models television show and feature on HGTV's architectural show 'Homes By Design'.

Many famous people have come and stayed and for a time called Morningside, Home. Come and experience what makes Morningside Estate the best vacation rental on Vancouver Island.

The main house is nestled between the mountains and the sea.  There are over 100 windows looking out over the Saanich Inlet providing a blur between the wild setting of the outdoors and the refined experience of the indoors.  The heating system is a combination of infloor heat and 5 firepaces.  The house interior is characterized by rock (mined from our property) wood (west coast feel) and glass all crafted into an environment not unlike Frank Lloyd Wright's famous 'Falling Waters' designed home. You will feel like this is your dream home while you are a guest at Morningside!
