The Saanich inlet is the most southerly fjord on the west coast with it’s steep coastline it makes it impossible to hike along the waterfront. So if you wish to take a walk while you are staying At Morningside, you will need to go back up our driveway on to Rocky Mountain Rd take a right on to Aspen, the second left takes you on to a side road. If you pass the Winery on Aspen Rd you have gone too far. Once you are on this side road only take left handed turns and you will find yourself back on to Aspen Road continue until you reach Rocky Mountain Rd and wined your way back down the driveway back to Morningside.
